My Evil Twin

The first person I ever played an original song for.
We went to high school together in CA.
A few years later he was with Kenny Loggins
and I was with Firefall. Did many shows together.
Best of friends to this day.
George Hawkins

Dad was an interesting guy.
Computer genius before there were computers as we know them.
35 years in the navy, 10 more in the same job as a civil servant.
Not a sign of music anywhere in his life.
Once threatened to sell my guitars.
He softened up once he saw me on American Bandstand.
My Father

Mom taught me my first songs on the guitar.
She (and our home) was full of music.
She was married to a big bandleader for a while (before dad).
Sang with the band on occasion.
She is 88 now and healthy as a draft horse.
Still sings like a bird.
My Mother

I've known Rusty for 30+ years.
He has always loved the songs I write.
In 2004, he generously put his money where his mouth is
and financed my first solo CD.
On August 1, 2005 at 5:30 in the morning, he succumbed to cancer of just about everything. I love him and miss him.
